Travel Rules and Guidelines

Rules of Supervision

Parents please be advised:

Clay Hill, Mike Neff and all coaches have and will continue to do everything we can to expose your child to college and pro scouts.  However, please understand, we are not Babysitters.

We will not tolerate the use of alcohol/drugs or females in the player's hotel rooms.  The players will be expected to abide by curfews and will be subjected to periodic room checks.

If a player breaks the law and is arrested for any reason, we will not be responsible for bailing him out - you will.  If a player breaks one of the team rules, he will be asked to perform some form of consequence, e.g. run 3 miles for a curfew violation.  If a 3rd violation of the team rules occurs, the player will be asked to leave the tournament early - at your expense.

It is parent's responsibility to discuss appropriate behavior for a road trip with his/her child and impress upon him to behave accordingly.

Spending Money

If your child runs out of money before the end of the trip, we will loan him enough to get through.

In the past, some players have done a poor job of managing their money and are then too embarrassed to notify anyone that they are out of money, to the point of not eating meals.  Please do not let this happen.  We will loan or advance your child the money needed to make it through the trip and you can reimburse us when we return.

Please take this time to discuss money management with your child.
